Shed Permit Information City of Ocala
Adding a shed or accessery structure to your property in the City of Ocala requires a General Construction permit. Whether replacing an existing shed, carport, or garage, or building a new one, the City of Ocala requires a permit application.
To save money, you can file the shed permit yourself as the owner/builder, or Brick City Buildings can apply for the permit as your General Contractor. We do charge a fee for filing permits to cover our administrative expenses.
If you are filing for a shed permit application, you will need to deliver the Owner/Builder form in person to the Building Division, located on the second floor of the City of Ocala Customer Service Center, 201 SE 3rd St.
